Embracing a strengths-based approach while focusing on the needs, strengths, and competencies of the client leads to a collaborative readiness process that is typically more successful than when non-collaborative (Walsh, 2009). Also, Stacy feels as though the only personal time she has comes after the children have fallen asleep, at which point she invites friends everywhere and has a late night, leading to morning bear.
