When I was asked to write an essay of great place that I had visited, only one place came to mind immediately and that is Kashmir in India. A simple description of Kashmir is that it is indeed a small heaven right here on earth.
The climate of Kashmir is one of the most striking things about this region especially given that it embraces any visitor to the place with scenic beauty. The Kashmir region is made up of Bombay with is not only the gateway into India but it is also a natural harbor that is filled with numerous beautiful and natural things.
The region also has in it Chandigarh which is a union territory and is also one of the most laid out cities in the whole of India which reveals a lot about the Frenchman who designed and planned it.
When it comes to culture, the region has the Taj at Agra which happens to be the most beautiful tomb which interestingly, symbolizes eternal love. For lovers of nature, they will definitely fall in love with the very beautiful Mungal gardens which are located in New Delhi.
These gardens say a lot about the British who laid them out. These gardens are very similar to the Shalimar and Nishat gardens which are located in Srinagar. These gardens are usually opened to the members of the public during the month of February only.
The name Mungal gardens was given to these gardens because they were constructed according to the Mungal way of design. I happen to have visited these gardens in the month of February and was truly amazed.
