On this quest he ironically befriends three of the former musketeers. D’Artagnan , starts his voyage in the provinces of France hoping to receive his way to Paris. D’artagnan leaves his home to travel to France and make a fortune. His father gives him three parting gifts one of them being a letter to Monsieur De Treville.
