Abstract:
The effects of enzymes and substrate assiduousness on catecholase activity for Ph were determined in this experiment. To ask the results, we mixed potato extract with catachol and then exposed it to varied Ph levels.
The Hypothesis that was being tested was to see if to a greater extent amounts of H2O, catechol and the potato extract were added, would the reaction rate go up. too if we added higher amounts of extract will it produce high change intensity.
The results of my experiment supported the hypothesis that the rate of change of the substrate would ontogenesis with increased amounts of enzyme, catecholase. We observe red that Tube 1, which had the highest absorbance level. each three tubes had potato extract in them, it was used as a measure of reaction, the greatest rate of change of catechol and group O to benoquinone was seen in tube 1. Tube 2 also seen an increase in the reaction and color intensity. Tube 3, the one with no catecholase had none or very little reaction.
