I think that this quote means that some measure in tone we start to try things several times before we actually succeed, you might feel humiliated and sightly want to give up but you dont you just keep onerous. It might not come to you in a day maybe not even a week but eventually if you just keep trying you will succeed, and when you finally do succeed you appreciate winner much more than if it had come so easily. Yes it is true that impuissance is very herculean to accept and sometimes it seems like it would be easier to give up, but if I were to give up because it was hard or because I was afraid of failure then my life who be empty.
