Fear Of Democracy
At the early lucre of The United States Of America, the founders of our nation were in fear of the idea of state. along with our founders fearing democracy, Alexis De Tocqueville feared the idea of democracy as well. The reasons that these people feared the democracy were for a lot of the same reasons. The founders and Tocqueville believed that with America being a democracy, in that respect would be a problem with individualism with each man. They besides believed that the people of America would lose their sense of nationalism towards Ameri tail and begin to only focus on themselves and not a nation as a whole. With people not pity about the earth the founders believed that democracy would not last.
The founders of America did not want too many smells of a pure democracy because they were in fear of it. A democracy is when a coun campaign or nation is operated depending on the majority of the vote; provided sometimes the way people are feeling can influence how they vote causing a faulty end which in an important aspect of the country could be actually bad. It has also been said, Democratic eras are periods of experiment, innovation, and adventure.(O.R. Adams Jr.
) The founders were in fear because they believed they had to try to make every person equal with the other. In qualification all the people equal they did not want to keep back to take property away from people that have already earned it, along with our basic freedoms in doing so. Another aspect was if the people of the country would all vote on a cause that they were not educating on making a wrong decision could be decided. John Adams quoted The experience of all motive ages had shown that of all human governments, democracy was the most unstable, fluctuating and short-lived. And he also quoted - Remember, democracy neer lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.
