Euthanasia can simply be defined as the practice of killing without pain a
person who is suffering from a disease that cannot be cured. It is a well-known
fact that despite the promising advancements and unprecedented
breakthroughs in the science of medicine, certain diseases ranging from cancer
to AIDS still bide incurable. People inflicted with such fatal diseases may
sometimes find themselves in a dilemmatic situation in which they have to
make a decision: to live with their devilish disease and die in pain or to die with
their own leave without yet suffering. This issue is a controversial one and
always triggers sooner heated debates. While there are some good deal who
fervently support the application of mercy killing, some others are alone against
this practice.
The main argument ordinate forward by the proponents of euthanasia is that
euthanasia might be necessary for many disastrous people born with severe
physical or mental defects. Proponents of this deadly medical practice claim
that such physically or mentally handicapped individuals will never be able to

on their parents or families.
