Introduction
A famous person by the name of Jane has been accused of her saves murder. An eyewitness erroneously identifies Jane as the killer. Jane was at a hotel out of town at the time of the murder. She paid cash and did not sign the hotel testify nor does the clerk remember seeing her. The State she lives in has the demolition penalty. Jane will be acquitted as if her signature was bad on the register. Putting forged documents into evidence is a felony notwithstanding that is the only way to save Jane so her attorney forges the documents.
Utilitarianism
This innovation as related to the scenario in this case would mean that the attorney should represent the client to produce the best possible rest period of good over bad for Jane. The attorney did not neediness Jane to be convicted of an routine she did not commit. The attorneys wreakions were to foster an innocent mortal from going to prison. Utilitarianism it states that the carryion performed is right if it issuings in happiness not only for the person who committed the act but also for those who are affected by the act (Shaw & Berry, 2010). I do believe that Jane would be extremely quick-witted for being acquitted.
Also, the individual who may have murdered the husband would have been happy after discovering that the wife was charged and convicted for the murder. The attorney would be happy because she got the satisfaction of knowing that an innocent person would not be sitting in prison for an act she did not commit.
Egoism
The Egoism concept is the idea of morality and egocentrism being equivalent to each other (Shaw & Barry, 2010). Did the attorney couch her ethical morals to satisfy her personal desires of wanting celebrity Jane to be acquitted so she could become more honourable through publicity?
