A family used to be able to support itself with one income, today thats not so easy. As we have seen how the hourly wages havent kept up with the go up costs of goods, and services.

The major problem in my observation is the competitive environment of the global economy. Some would say its covetousness on Big business hiring third world employees to increase profits. Businesses would say they have to hire outside the United States, in order to stay profitable. I do believe the U.S. government could do more, by changing some of their policies. Because of the competitive economy, its so important to be educated in domain thats in demand. Hopefully, in the future we will be able to support a family, comfortable on one income.
