Abstract The largest electronic organ of the organic structure is the external coating known as the spit out or the integumental organisation. The skin is not usually classified as a em clay system but more classified as an organ. The integumental system is the largest organ on the body including extensions of the skin as hairs-breadth and nails. However, the skin is the most important of these. The purpose of this research is to identify the different layers of the skin, characteristics of the skin, including its weight, clear and size. The information gathered result also explain the functions of the integumentary system, structure of the skin and the different types of skin lesions and then provide examples of diseases and disorders. The integumentary system is an important and vital function to the body protecting the surface and acting as an important actor of survival.

The integumentary system not only includes skin but skin derivatives such as hair, nails and glands. The hair functions as protection and sensing scintillation touch.
